Editorial Note of Glitterist Magazine Issue No. 45

Dear Readers,

Every edition of Glitterist Magazine is a journey through
stories that inspire, inform, and ignite ambition. Issue No. 45
stands as a powerful reflection of how glamour, purpose,
innovation, and real-life achievements coexist in today’s
evolving world.

With Tara Sutaria adorning the cover of this issue, we open
our pages with a celebration of contemporary elegance and
conscious luxury. Her association with SENNES by the House
of Senco perfectly represents the new-age narrative of style
with responsibility—where sustainability, design, and ethics
come together seamlessly.

At the heart of this issue, we proudly feature Sanghamitra Das as the Star of the Month—a woman who embodies balance in its truest sense. From a global finance career to motherhood, fitness, and pageantry, her story reflects the reality of modern women who refuse to be defined by a single identity.

Issue No. 45 also marks a milestone moment for Glitterist Magazine with the successful execution of our first-ever professional Portfolio Shoot, organized in collaboration with The Bullygunge Studio, Kolkata. This initiative, featuring Barna Raha Banerjee, Ananya Sen, and Sanghamitra Das, reinforces Glitterist’s commitment to not just showcasing talent, but actively creating platforms where aspiring models can grow, learn, and step confidently into the industry.

Beyond fashion and lifestyle, this issue brings strong voices from the worlds of business, innovation, and social impact. We cover the grand launch of Hexagon India’s ATS800 Metrology Solution at IMTEX Forming 2026, highlighting India’s rapid advancement in precision manufacturing and global technology leadership.

We also turn our focus to purpose-driven initiatives with our coverage of the 7th Edition of Ekal Run, inaugurated by Olympic icon Saina Nehwal, reminding us that fitness and social responsibility can move hand in hand to create meaningful change.

From culinary storytelling with Chowman Kitchen Diaries, to luxury lifestyle, entrepreneurship, and inspirational personalities, Issue No. 45 is curated as a complete experience—where glamour meets intellect, and aspiration meets opportunity.

As Editor-in-Chief, my vision for Glitterist remains deeply rooted in authenticity and evolution. We are not just documenting stories—we are building a community, encouraging participation, and shaping platforms that empower voices across industries.

To our readers, collaborators, and supporters—thank you for being part of this ever-growing Glitterist journey. Issue No. 45 is a celebration of diversity, determination, and dreams in motion.
Stay inspired. Stay evolving.

And always—Sparkle, Shine & Set The World Ablaze.

Somdatta Ganguly, Editor-in-Chief Mr. Suvojit Barman

Dear Readers,

Every edition of Glitterist Magazine is an evolving reflection of ambition,
creativity, and purpose. Issue No. 44 stands as a powerful chronicle of
transformation—where fashion meets resilience,
talent meets authenticity, and platforms become pathways for lasting impact.

This issue is led by our Cover Model, Dr. Mrs. Somdatta Ganguly,
whose journey exemplifies the true essence of modern pageantry and leadership.
Her story reinforces a belief we hold deeply at
Glitterist—that glamour is not confined to youth or trend,
but is born from confidence, discipline, and the courage to reinvent oneself.
Her rise through the
Miss & Mrs. Pride of East India 2025 (Mrs. Elite Category) is not merely a victory,
but a declaration that purpose has no age limit.

Adding depth and inspiration to this edition is Aboli Jarit,
a voice of courage and inclusion, whose life journey challenges
conventional narratives of ability and beauty.
As a national awardee, artist, and role model, Aboli reminds us that
strength is not defined by physical form,
but by spirit, conviction, and unwavering belief.

Representing the pulse of contemporary entertainment is Yuvraj Gupta,
our Smart Creator of the Month, whose extraordinary voice artistry
reflects a new generation of creators reshaping performance through
spontaneity, observation, and originality. His rise highlights
how digital platforms, when powered by real talent,
can create authentic stars of influence.

Issue No. 44 also celebrates immersive experiences that
redefine fashion presentation. Our Editor’s Special Article on
Midnight Horizon, held at MYX, Park Street, captures
how couture, nightlife, and creative vision converged to create a fashion narrative
that belonged to the night itself. Such platforms push boundaries and
reaffirm Kolkata’s evolving fashion identity.

Cinema finds its grand voice in this issue with
the Pan-Indian spectacle Vrusshabha, a film that blends emotion,
legacy, and scale. The unveiling of its powerful trailer signals
the arrival of a cinematic experience rooted in storytelling
that transcends language and geography.

At Glitterist, we believe that magazines are more than pages—
they are archives of ambition and mirrors of cultural movement.
This issue stands as a testament to individuals and
creations that dare to stand out, speak honestly, and
leave a mark beyond the moment.

As you turn these pages, we invite you to engage not just with style and success,
but with stories that inspire evolution.

Let us continue to Sparkle, Shine & Set The World Ablaze—together.

ONE LITTLE FINGER: A GROUNDBREAKING FILM CELEBRATING ABILITY IN DISABILITY

One Little Finger

Kolkata | 2025–2026

One Little Finger is a powerful narrative feature film that is redefining global cinema by making history with a cast of over 80 persons with disabilities, bringing inclusion, diversity, and human rights to the forefront through the medium of film.

Written and directed by Dr. Rupam Sarmah, the English-language feature film is co-produced in India and the USA and is inspired by real-life stories. The film boldly challenges long-standing societal perceptions by proving that disability is not a limitation—but a different expression of ability. With more than a billion people worldwide living with some form of disability, One Little Finger serves as a poignant reminder that people are often disabled by society, not by their bodies.

The film brings together children and young adults with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, hearing impairment, multiple sclerosis, dementia, intellectual disabilities, and rare genetic disorders—each portrayed by real-life individuals. By placing them at the heart of the narrative, the film promotes dignity, representation, and empowerment.

One Little Finger features an acclaimed international cast including Hollywood actor Tamela D’Amico, Oscar-nominated composer and actress Siedah Garrett, National Award-winning actress Jeeja Ghosh, hearing-impaired South Indian actress Abhinaya, and actor Den, who lives with cerebral palsy and a rare genetic disorder. The ensemble also includes Jonathan Stoddard, Jaya Seal Ghosh, Malaya Goswami, Siddhartha Mukherjee, Alakananda Ray, Kushal Chakrabarty, Biplab Ghosh, and several others.

Music therapy plays a vital role in the film’s storytelling. The soundtrack and background score are composed by Rupam Sarmah and Stephen Melillo, featuring contributions from legendary Grammy and Oscar-winning artists such as Quincy Jones, Julian Lennon, Siedah Garrett, Kechi Okwuchi, Kevin Mackie, and Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Songs span multiple genres and languages, including English, Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi.

The film has already earned over 30 international awards and has been officially selected at film festivals across Los Angeles, Florida, Italy, London, Spain, and other global platforms. Its accolades include Best Film for Inspiration, Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Music, Human Rights Award, World Peace Award, and Telly Awards.

Synopsis

When an American neurologist, Raina, relocates to India to research music therapy, her journey intertwines with the lives of children and adults with disabilities. Through music, resilience, and shared humanity, they challenge limitations, confront bullying and abuse, and inspire one another to rise through their abilities rather than their perceived disabilities.

From our powerful cover star Barna Raha Banerjee to Tejas Gandhi’s dazzling winter fashion feature and the launch of Vision Elite 2026, this issue reflects the spirit of ambition and evolution.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Let’s continue to sparkle, shine & set the world ablaze.

Dear Readers,

As we step into the 43rd edition of Glitterist Magazine, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for how far this journey has come—and for the extraordinary community that continues to grow with us.

This issue celebrates strength, reinvention, and rising voices—the very spirit that defines the world we belong to.

Our cover star, Barna Raha Banerjee, is a powerful reminder that a woman’s identity is never limited to a single role. An actress, RJ, pageant winner, theatre practitioner, mother, and inspiration—she embodies what we at Glitterist stand for: substance with sparkle, talent with purpose. Her story is not just a feature—it is a message to every woman who dares to redefine her own narrative.

This month also marks the unveiling of Glitterist Vision Elite 2026, a project close to my heart. Vision Elite is not merely a calendar shoot—it is a platform of transformation, where image becomes influence and visibility becomes legacy. With only 12 faces chosen, it sets a new benchmark for how talent and brands are showcased in today’s evolving glamour landscape.

We are also honoured to cover moments that made Bengal proud—from the Cricket Association of Bengal’s grand felicitation of Richa Ghosh at Eden Gardens, to cinema’s most awaited resurgence with Border 2, introducing Varun Dhawan’s striking first look alongside legends who shaped a generation.

Adding to this, our Editor’s Special fashion feature brings the winter nightlife of Kolkata alive with Tejas Gandhi’s party-wear collection, shot at the stunning Aerosky Bar & Kitchen, where style meets skyline.

With every page, Issue 43 reflects what Glitterist has always believed—
that glamour is not just appearance;
it is ambition, courage, culture, and identity.

As we move forward, Glitterist remains committed to discovering talent, empowering voices, and creating platforms that do not just showcase individuals—but elevate them.

Thank you to every reader, collaborator, and believer who stands with us.

Let us continue to
sparkle, shine & set the world ablaze.

Editorial Note of Glitterist Magazine Issue No. 42

Dear Readers,

As I pen this note for our 42nd Issue of Glitterist Magazine, I can’t
help but look back at the incredible journey that has brought us
here — a journey built on passion, creativity, and the power of
collaboration.

The past few months have been particularly special for the
Glitterist family. On 15th October 2025, we celebrated a
milestone moment with the Physical Copy Launch of Issue No. 41
and the official premiere of our new anthem, “Glitterist – Set The World Ablaze.”
The event at Hangoutz Boutique Café, Garia was not just a launch — it was a celebration of art, music, and the community we’ve built together. Seeing the sparkle in every face
that evening reminded me why we started this journey — to create
a platform where every talent shines and every dream finds a
stage.

This 42nd Issue carries that same fire of inspiration. Our Cover Model, Sangita Saha Debnath,
embodies elegance, strength, and perseverance. Her journey — from the serene beauty of Melaghar in
Tripura to the glamorous world of pageantry — reflects the very essence of what Glitterist stands for:
rising from roots, embracing individuality, and shining with authenticity.

We also bring you exclusive event coverages from across the region — including the Curtain Raiser of
Miss & Mrs. Pride of East India Season 2 by Heels & Crowns, and the captivating city activation of Pitch
To Get Rich featuring Golubhai Badalia’s “Men in Black” campaign that took over Kolkata. Each story in this issue celebrates visionaries, dreamers, and creators who continue to redefine beauty,
entrepreneurship, and purpose.

At Glitterist, our mission has always been simple yet powerful — to Sparkle, Shine & Set The World
Ablaze! This issue is a reflection of that burning spirit — of those who dare to dream differently and
have the courage to turn those dreams into legacy.

To every reader, contributor, and supporter — thank you for believing in us. Your love and
encouragement fuel this creative journey and inspire us to keep pushing boundaries.
Here’s to every dreamer who refuses to dim their light — may you continue to sparkle, shine, and yes…
set the world ablaze! ✨

Gariahat Hindustan Club Unveils its Pujo Theme Song 2025 – Amar Janani Tumi

Puja Theme Song Launch- Amar Janani Tumi

Kolkata, 25th September 2025 –

In a heartfelt tribute to Maa Durga and the spirit of Bengal’s most cherished festival, Gariahat Hindustan Club proudly launched its official Durga Puja Theme Song 2025, titled Amar Janani Tumi.

This soul-stirring composition is the creative culmination of three celebrated artists – lyrics by Hon’ble Minister of State, Smt. Chandrima Bhattacharya, music by Debaditya Chaudhury (renowned keyboardist of Bangla Rock Band Lakkhichhara), and vocals by acclaimed singer Raghav Chatterjee. The track has been released under the label Cosmik Harmony.

Amar Janani Tumi beautifully encapsulates the emotional, cultural, and spiritual essence of Durga Puja. As the beats of dhaak resonate through the festive air and the fragrance of shiuli ushers in autumn, the song stands as a heartfelt reminder of Bengal’s eternal devotion to Maa Durga.

Sharing her thoughts, Smt. Chandrima Bhattacharya, Lyricist & Minister of State, said:
Amar Janani Tumi is more than a song — it is a prayer, a celebration, and a tribute to the strength and compassion of Maa Durga. Writing these lyrics was a deeply emotional experience, inspired by my own bond with the festival and its meaning in our lives.”

Reflecting on the composition, Debaditya Chaudhury, Composer & Keyboardist, noted:
“With this song, I wanted to musically express the devotion, grandeur, and warmth that Durga Puja brings to every Bengali heart. Amar Janani Tumi is rooted in tradition yet designed to connect with today’s generation through a timeless soundscape.”
Adding his voice to the celebration, Raghav Chatterjee, Vocalist & Eminent Singer, remarked:
“It’s always special to sing for Pujo, but Amar Janani Tumi felt truly divine. The lyrics touched my soul, and the music was emotionally rich. I believe this song will stay in people’s hearts long after the Puja lights fade.”

Hindustan Club, Garia Hat Durga Puja 2025

With the launch of Amar Janani Tumi, Gariahat Hindustan Club not only adds a new cultural highlight to Durga Puja 2025 but also creates a musical tribute that will deeply resonate with devotees and music lovers alike.
